Secret of the Seychelles Cruise

Sailing from Mombasa, you'll discover Zanzibar's spice-laden bazaars, the underwater world of Mayotte and the heady scent of Nosy Bé, before cruising north to the shores of The Seychelles.
With a night at anchor between Praslin and La Digue, you can really enjoy this naturalist's paradise. There's tim, too, to go in search of Mahé's giant tortoise.

Portrait of the Seychelles Cruise

Relax on deck as you sail through the crystal waters of the Indian Ocean, bound for The Seychelles. As you approach the white-sand beaches of Mahé look out for vivid tropical fish amongst the coral and also for brightly-feathered birds in the trees. Experience the beauty of a Seychelles sunset as you berth here for the night before going on to explore dramatic Praslin and La Digue. You cruise back to Mombasa via the fragrant islands of Nosy Bé, Mayotte and Zanzibar, completing this colourful portrait of a beautiful ocean.

The Seychelles Destination Guide

Isolated for thousands of years they have an extraordinary plant and animal life, many of which are endemic to the area. The tropical waters, made famous by Jacques Cousteau, are an exotic and beautiful coral underworld. Each island is unique and, with the combination of lush green vegetation surrounded by white sandy beaches, they appear like precious jewels in the turquoise waters.

Mahè

Mahé, the largest of The Seychelles boasts no less than sixty eight powdery white sand beaches surrounded by coral reefs. The abundant vegetation rises through plantations of coconut palms and cinnamon to forested peaks that afford fantastic views of the neighbouring islands. The capital, Victoria, has a number of Creole restaurants, craft shops, art galleries and a colourful fruit market. At the superb Botanical Gardens highlights include giant tortoises, an orchid garden and the unique coco-de-mer palm from neighbouring Praslin.
