Gorilla Tracking: Gorilla Tracking: This is the major attraction in Uganda and is done in Bwindi National Park.There are four gorilla groups currently available daily for tourists. Mubare group (10 gorillas, 1 silverback) was opened for tourism in 1993, Habinyanja group (18 gorillas, 1 silverback) opened in July 1998, Rushegura group (10 gorillas, 1 silverback) was opened in July 2002, while Nkuringo group (19 gorillas, 2 silverbacks) was opened for tourism in April 2004. Book at least 6 months (but not more than two years) in advance to ensure that requested dates are available. Gorilla tracking in Bwindi can be challenging, therefore ensure fitness. Gorilla tracking experience starts at 8.30 am local time and can last from a few hours to a whole day! Registration at the gate commences at 7.45 am.

White Water rafting The white water rafting begins at the Source of the Nile at 0930hr with a comprehensive briefing and the fitting of lifejackets and helmets. The rafting is done on an 18 kilometre stretch of the Nile River. The first few rapids are low grade (1,2) and give clients a sense of confidence. As the river meanders through beautiful scenery, the rafts are guided into the mighty challenges of the best “grade 5” rapids on the Nile. Eight major rapids are rafted plus lower graded runs to maximize the adrenaline rush of this adventure

Mountaineering: Ever heard of snow at the equator then experience the 5,119m high snow covered Rwenzori Mountains also known as the mountains of the moon and protected not only as a national park but also as a world heritage site. A trip to the Rwenzoris is a lifetime adventure and an exhilarating and rewarding experience that takes you about 7 days/nights. Let′s Go Travel will not hesitate to take you through Mt. Elgon which is 4,321m, also a national park situated at the border with Kenya, where mountaineering can be experienced and may include cross-boarder tourism into Kenya. At the top, lies a beautiful and large caldera of 40km.

Hiking Hiking is a self-rewarding activity that you can engage in at Mgahinga Gorilla and Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks. Particularly exciting are the Virunga volcanoes in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. This volcano offers three extinct volcanoes.(Mt. Sabyinyo 3669 M Mt. Gahinga 3474 M and Mt. Muhavura 4127 M) for physically fit hikers, special mountaineering gears are not required. At Mt. Sabyinyo, a hike up the mountain takes one up a ridge along the eastern side to peak 1. If one is to continue, the hike to peak 2 involves walking a ridge with breath-taking drops into gorges of Rwanda and Uganda. Finally, the hike up to peak 3 is steep with several ladders and mush scrambling. You are guaranteed to get your hands dirty en-route to peak 3. Once on top, you will be in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda at the same time. The journey takes about eight hours round trip to cover the 14-km stretch.

Sport Fishing: Uganda is an ideal fishing destination. With one third of the country covered by water; there is great opportunity for sport fishing. Nile Perch of up to 108 kg have been caught below the Falls in Murchison Falls National Park. Other fish you can catch include Tilapia, Tiger fish, ferocious fighter, Ngara (Genus alestes), catfish and barbel. Be part of the next fishing expedition by making your reservation now, limited fishing permits are available per annum.
