Depart from Kampala traveling on the Kampala-Jinja highway. Stop at Mabira Forest and enjoy having lunch in a tranquil natural environment with the wonderful sounds of bird calls, watching exotic sunbirds and playful red tailed monkeys. On arrival in Jinja, visit the Source of the Nile, the longest river in the world. There is an additional option of taking the exciting leap off a 44 metre cliff above the Nile for the bungee jump. Jinja Nile Resort is situated on a beautiful landscape with lush gardens, palm trees, tropical weather and a great view of the famous magnificent Bujagali Falls. At the banks of the great River Nile, it has a strategic location providing a breathtaking view of the Nile. The rooms are in colonial-type cottages, are en-suite, have a small sitting room, work desk and a private Nile-facing balcony.

After breakfast, start on the combo adventure of white water rafting and quad biking. Enjoy the most thrilling white water rafting at different grade stages in the morning. After a mouth watering buffet lunch, jump on a ‘Roar of the Nile’ quad bike, taking a safari along the banks of the Nile, exploring the countryside on trails that lead up to a high viewpoint where you can look down at the bouncing rafts on the river below. Return to Kampala.

The white water rafting begins at the Source of the Nile at 0930hr with a comprehensive briefing and the fitting of lifejackets and helmets. The rafting is done on an 18 kilometre stretch of the Nile River. The first few rapids are low grade (1,2) and give clients a sense of confidence. As the river meanders through beautiful scenery, the rafts are guided into the mighty challenges of the best “grade 5” rapids on the Nile. Eight major rapids are rafted plus lower graded runs to maximize the adrenaline rush of this adventure.
