Tour Overview

Tarangire is a common transit destination for visitors traveling to the Ngorongoro national park or the Serengeti national park. Tarangire is a short distance from Arusha town. The main attractions in this park include tree climbing snakes, elephants, the beautiful scenery of vegetation dotted by baobab and acacia trees and strategic locations which enable visitors to view beautiful mountains and plains. In addition to the above, Tarangire offers visitors the opportunity to see different animals which come to this park at particular times of the year.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha in the morning and  drive to Tarangire National park where you will  have lunch and rest. Embark on an afternoon game drive in the park. It is interesting to note that many of the animals often come to water at the Tarangire River which has been a reliable source of water for them over the years. By visiting this spot, visitors will have a great opportunity to watch different animals at close range and even take photographs. Dinner and overnight stay in the park at accommodation of  your choice.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive. This is a great opportunity for the visitor to enjoy game viewing in diverse locations as well as the scenic beauty in the park, then proceed for lunch and slight rest as you await for the afternoon heat to recede below proceeding to afternoon game drive. Another game drive in the afternoon then retire for dinner and overnight stay in a lodge /camp in the park.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Arusha
The day begins with breakfast. At this point visitors can take a morning game drive and depart Tarangire to arrive in Arusha in time for lunch. Drive to the airport or drive to Nairobi with a stopover at Namanga border point.
