Hiking & Mountaineering
Hiking in Rwenzori and Elgon is a year round activity, but inexperienced hikers are generally more comfortable in the dry seasons, particularly July-August and December-February. Hiking in the wet seasons can be extremely challenging because sections of the trek can get extremely boggy and hamper hikers’ progress.
