Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. There are various different types of test that one can take to detect whether you have COVID -19 or not. This can get a bit confusing but the standard accepted test is the PCR -Test. Corona Virus Update - Uganda
Uganda, like the rest of the world is trying to ensure that Corona Virus outbreak does not affect the people living in Ugandas boarders. To this effect the President of Uganda closed the boarders into Uganda in late March 2020 for all passengers only allowing cargo to cross into and out of Uganda. The Ministry of Health issued guidelines on what measures individuals should be taking to ensure that they don't contract the virus.
